Foxes FC trials have become increasingly competitive in the last few years due to the soaring levels of talent being exhibited by players.
Based on these high standards, many players who have attended the trials have not made it into the Foxes FC teams, although the majority displayed the necessary talent.
For those players who wish to develop their playing to a competitive level, we have established Development Squads. These players are provided with training to improve their overall skills.
Development Squad training takes place on Saturday morning, 10am – 11.30am at Ray Park, Snakes Lane East, Woodford IG8 7JJ, every Saturday during term time from September to July.
All development groups have a dedicated coach who will work alongside the team throughout the term. The training sessions will be structured around the club’s coaching philosophy of developing the players technically, physically, socially and tactically.
Foxes FC midweek training sessions are delivered every Thursday within term time as outlined in the Foxes FC calendar. The midweek training session is optional to attend and must be booked separately at an additional cost, by contacting us.
In addition to the training sessions, our development squad players are also encouraged to attend our monthly Super Sunday matches.
Foxes FC Super Sundays are held once a month throughout the season. Super Sunday is an internal tournament where Foxes FC Development Squad players will compete in matches against each other in a structured manner.
Players will play matches within their own age groups with the purpose to provide them with valuable match time in a competitive environment in order to support their development.
