Foxes FC offers competitive football training, designed to take young players’ football skills to a higher level with regular training, masterclasses and matches, giving them valuable exposure and definitive experiences.
Our teams cater for players aged from 6 to 15 years old and they currently play in the Regent’s Park Youth League.
Our players can take advantage of the wide spectrum of development opportunities offered across our programmes so they can practise as much as possible to develop to their full potential, building strength, stamina and skill mastery.
Our league teams’ training takes place on every Saturday morning, 10 am – 12 pm at Hampstead Heath in term time from September to July.
All teams have a dedicated coach who works alongside the team throughout the season. Training sessions are structured around the club’s coaching philosophy designed to develop the players technically, physically, socially and tactically.
Foxes FC coaches train their players using the Long Term Player Development Strategy (LTPD) – backed up by research from Europe’s most renowned youth football academies (e.g. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Ajax), advocating a mastery-oriented focus.
Our teams currently play in the Regent’s Park Youth League and matches take place on alternate Saturdays during term time between September to May.
In line with league norms, all match details are confirmed on a week-by-week basis. Match details are posted on the League Team Fixtures page and emailed to parents by Wednesday, prior to the Saturday matches.
In line with FA guidelines, the Under 7 (U7) – Under 11 (U11) age groups play in Development Leagues. Essentially, this means that there are no league tables or results published and that matches are played with a focus on player development at these key age groups. In addition to the development matches, all of our teams will play in cup competitions throughout the season to maintain an element of healthy competition.
Competitive football is introduced from U12 upwards and all of our U12 – U15 teams play in competitive leagues wherein league tables and results are published.
Cup tournaments are also played throughout the season, ensuring our players are exposed to a number of competitions in which they can compete for over the course of a typical season.
